We are grateful to those that are interested in helping to coach a team this next season, as the league can’t run without your assistance. Delivering a safe fun-filled learning environment for the kids that are participating in the Colorado Springs Homeschool Sports League requires consistency and ongoing strengthening of those that are coaching. To that end, we have a few expectations for those that will be coaches: To enable a safe environment, we need coaches to arrive 15 minutes before the official start of practice so that there is a coach present should kids arrive early, and will need to stay with their players until the last child is picked up. To help in teaching the kids, coaches are expected to read/watch any resources provided by the league (before and throughout the season). To provide a safe, fun-filled, learning environment, coaches will need to be active in teaching and guiding the kids from the beginning of the practice through the end of the game.
